Attorney General totally cool with Dan Sullivan’s white bro chest thumping

According to Dan, Tim Griffin thinks Sullivan’s bill criminalizing public affirmative action is awesome sauce.

If you think it’s crappy that Dan Sullivan wants to make state-sponsored affirmative illegal, you can chill. Dan said he hit up Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin and Griffin is totes cool with the policy.

Dan has been pretty aggravated that some, like the state’s largest newspaper, have said SB71 will close important institutions like the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. Not true, said Dan. And he would know because he gave the Attorney General a ring himself to see if the bill was up to snuff or not. Wicked move, Dan.

“The continued rhetoric to stir up this issue and intimidate the bill’s sponsors? I reject. If we’re ever gonna solve discrimination in the state, it will not be by further discrimination… The Attorney General said he has reviewed the bill thoroughly and there are no constitutional infirmities in it.”

That’s heavy, bruh.

Bummer for Dan though, cause not all his colleagues agreed. One senator said Sullivan was engaging in platitudes and thumping his chest. Dan didn’t seem concerned with shutting down prominent cultural centers or, say, historically Black colleges and universities. Nah man, because his bill would end discrimination, so we won’t need these programs, centers, and colleges anymore. Excellent.

Thank the white bro gods that Dan Sullivan is ending racism as we know it in Arkansas. Bro has mad skills. Such an accomplishment is worthy of a chest thump and a gnarly high five from the Attorney General.
