Sarah’s proud boy lands seditious conspiracy charge

Very fake news outlets like the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal report that former Proud Boys leader, neo-fascist, and Sanders’ photo bestie Enrique Tarrio has been convicted of some pretty serious stuff, like attempting to overthrow the United States government.

A charge like that must make Sarah feel a bit silly that she took such a buddy-buddy photo with the guy.

The verdicts, coming after seven days of deliberations in Federal District Court in Washington, were a major blow against one of the country’s most notorious far-right groups and another milestone in the Justice Department’s vast investigation of the Capitol attack… The trial provided a unique and disturbing glimpse into the Proud Boys’ culture, as a trove of internal group chats and recordings revealed a toxic stew of machismo, homophobia and misogyny often accompanied by sophomoric humor and rampant alcohol use. The jury heard members of the group engaging in casual antisemitism and, in some cases, promoting outright Nazi sympathy.

We all have friends that mess up every now and then, and sometimes the mess-ups are pretty icky. But having a Proud Boys compadre land a Treason Lite™ charge is a bit more problematic, especially when Sarah wants the White House for herself.
