Alexa reaches too hard, pulls muscle

Governor Sanders’ Director of Contempt, Alexa Henning, tried a little too hard today. Hope she bounces back soon.

The LEARNS Act is getting more and more criticism, and it’s Alexa Henning’s job to squash it. That’s not easy when (a) the bill will effectively ruin education for the majority of students in the state, and (b) your boss doesn’t care what the truth is.

Better luck next time, Alexa.
better luck next time, Alexa.

The solution? Scrape up enough support for a dinky little twitter thread that will instantly be fact-checked by real educators who know their stuff.

I mean, really, Alexa. Did you think we wouldn’t notice that much of the media support in your thread was published before the bill was even filed? So those writers were supporting LEARNS based on what — vibes alone?

Another few of the supportive pieces are written by proven shills of the far-right conservative movement. I mean, if you can’t find an objective media outlet to praise your legislation, I guess that was your only alternative. We saw right through it, though.

Keep reaching like that, and you’re sure to pull a muscle.
